Sponsorship

From time to time, the ESU sponsors organisations and individuals to undertake activities that align with the strategic directions of the Victoria Branch.

Sponsorship is not automatically 'ongoing'. Subject to acquittal of funding via the ESU's receipt of satisfactory reports, sponsorship may, however, be 'recurrent' if the organisation applies for further support. Examples of recurrent sponsorship include: Mathilde Magazine and to the Speech & Drama Teacher's Association of Victoria. A single round of sponsorship supported the establishment of Observer & Review. The ESU has commissioned Alexander Voltz to compose a new musical work for baritone and piano; see here: https://esuvic.org.au/content/musical-commission

There is no set way to apply for sponsorship. In recent years, each sponsorship has, initially, been prompted by an application for one of the ESU Awards. We therefore encourage application for a Minor or Major Project Grant as the first step towards potential sponsorship.
