Our Aims
Our constitutional objects are to:

To promote good fellowship and understanding among the English-speaking peoples and to remove misunderstanding between these peoples.

To engage in any educational work (including the organisation of lectures, visits and interchange of professors, students, teachers and other speakers) conducive to the foregoing purpose.

To promote among subjects and citizens of the British Commonwealth of Nations the study of the history and institutions of the United States of America and among citizens of the United States of America the study of the history and institutions of the British Commonwealth of Nations and to this end to promote travelling scholarships and other educational activities of any kind.

To promote the celebration of any national or other festivals relating to the culture of the English-speaking peoples.

To consider discuss and promote all questions and matters affecting the interests, well-being and relationship of the English-speaking peoples.

To provide facilities for the interchange of ideas and social intercourse between the members of the company and others.

To undertake and execute any trust which may seem to the company conducive to any of its objects.

To carry out all or any of the above objects in any part of the world.

To do all such other things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects.
We welcome donations and bequests to support any of these aims.
