Battle for Australia Ceremony – Forecourt, Shrine of Remembrance, St Kilda Road.

On Wednesday 4^th September, Australia officially celebrates the Battle for Australia, a series of victories in the Coral Sea, at Milne Bay and on the Kokoda Track which stemmed the tide of Japanese conquest. Those heroic Australians and our allies who fought in these battles and particularly those who sacrificed their lives in these campaigns to stop a Japanese invasion deserve our eternal gratitude and recognition.

We invite all members and friends to join us at the wreath-laying ceremony in the Forecourt of the Shrine of Remembrance at 11:00am. We will remember them.
