ESU House: A significant heritage building in Ascot Vale
Learn about the history and heritage of the former English Scottish and Australian Bank in Ascot Vale and celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Victorian Heritage Register.
The bank building was added to the Victorian Heritage Register in January 1997 (as H4917). It is now owned and managed (as ESU House) by the English-Speaking Union (Victoria Branch). ESU Director Geoffrey Mills will speak about the history of the building and the recently completed restoration works.
This free event at ESU House is part of History Month in October.
A light afternoon tea will be provided, as well as an optional tour of the building. Please note that the venue includes stairs.
Everyone is welcome, but seats are limited so please RSVP.
